It was with great sadness that we learned of the sudden passing of Grand Chief Joe Norton of the Mohawk community of Kahnawake. On this painful occasion, the Grand Conseil de la Waban-Aki wishes to pay tribute to his memory.
The GCNWA extends its deepest sympathies to the Mohawk community of Kahnawake for the loss of its Grand Chief. At the same time, we extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Grand Chief Norton.
